A few months ago, I noticed a new store opened up on 8th avenue and 54th. I thought I might one day get some lunch from there but I wasn’t sure that would actually happen.
As busy as I was today, I had to go to the pharmacy so I realized this might be the time to try out Cascade. I thought it would be a quick meal and I could take something back to the office and continue work.
Absolutely ridiculous. I decided on make your own pasta.
As you can see the selection is quite lame. Europa Café definitely has a better selection. I selected tri-color rotini, shrimp, broccoli and arrabiata sauce. Shameful. The broccoli serving was skimpy and believe it or not they made me pay extra for sauce!!!
What kind of lame-o place makes you pay extra for sauce?! When I got back to the office, I was rather disappointed in this meal.
I DO NOT recommend Cascade. In fact, you should avoid it at all costs!
