Land!

After trekkin all about Hoboken, I had worked up quite the appetite.  When we arrived at Mr. G's place, I quickly placed an order at one of my fav Thai spots in his neighborhood.  Land is one of those places I can order take out from, but truly enjoy dining in.

I usually go to Land during lunch time for their amazingly great lunch deal, appetizer + entree = $8.  I like wandering in on a weekend afternoon, grabbing a table by the wall/mirror and reading a book while I eat.

Today, I ordered Curry Puffs and Chicken Drunken Noodle.

The curry puffs were HUGE.  I only ate two of them and gave the other two to Mr. G.  They are extremely flavorful, packed with chicken and vegetables in a very light crust.

The drunken noodle was incredible.  They pack it full of chicken, bok choy, water chestnuts, peppers and usually tomatoes.  It was spicy, the vegetables were definitely cooked in the sauce and everything was fantastic.  And yes, I mean everything - because I finished every last piece.

To be fair, the only reason I was able to do that is because I asked for no tomatoes.  I just think they throw off the whole vibe of drunken noodle.  Mmmm Land, always leaves me with a big smile and a fully belly
